Natural and manufactured variation
Natural stone and handmade tile vary between batches in colour, veining, texture, and dimension. Photographs and samples show the character of a material, not a guarantee of an exact match. Screens also render colour differently from one device to another.
Coverage and quantity
Coverage figures are nominal and exclude waste, pattern loss, and cuts. Our tile calculator produces an estimate for planning purposes. Confirm final quantities against your actual layout before ordering.
Performance figures
Where a manufacturer publishes a tested figure — slip resistance, water absorption, thermal output — we pass it on as published. Where a figure is not published, we do not supply one. Suitability for a specific application depends on the installation as much as on the material.
Installation
Material purchased without installation is supplied on the basis that installation is carried out to the manufacturer's instructions and to applicable standards. We are glad to advise on suitability before you order.
