What we cover

The agenda

Usually 45 to 60 minutes. Longer if the project is complicated, and shorter if it turns out we are not the right people for it — which we will tell you.

  1. 01

What you want from the room

How it is used now, what frustrates you about it, and what you would change first if you could only change one thing.

  2. 02

    What the space will allow

Floor structure, drainage, ventilation, and the openings you have. This is where a curbless shower is either straightforward or expensive, and it is better to know early.

  3. 03

    Materials, in your own light

Samples looked at in the room they are going into, against your cabinetry and your daylight. A tile chosen on a screen is chosen twice.

  4. 04

    What it costs, honestly

A realistic range for the scope discussed, including the preparation. If your budget and the brief do not meet, we will say so and suggest where to adjust.

  5. 05

    How the work would run

Sequence, duration, what is disrupted, and what you would need to live without while it happens.
